Worship & Music Ministries

Contemporary Worship Team

Share your musical gifts by singing or playing an instrument as part of our Praise Team. Rehearsals are held weekly, and the team serves during Sunday worship.

Instrumentalists

Offer your musical talents during worship services or small group settings.

Chancel Choir

Youth and adults rehearse on Wednesday evenings and sing weekly at the 11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship service.

Bell Choir (Seasonal)

Help enhance worship during special seasons through bell music.

Acolytes (Grades 3–8)

Youth assist in Traditional Worship by lighting the altar candles at the 11:00 a.m. service.

Lay Ministry

Become a certified lay reader and assist in leading worship and other church ministries.

Communion Assistant

Help prepare and clean up the elements for monthly communion services.

Fellowship & Community Life

Congregational Life

Host small groups or special events in your home, or assist with hospitality events such as potlucks and seasonal celebrations.

Congregational Breakfast

Join us once a month (October through April) for a hot breakfast, fellowship, and an informational program.

Dinner with Friends

Help prepare, serve, or clean up for our weekly Friday evening neighborhood dinner.

Cooking Ministry

Assist with preparing meals for church events, studies, or families in need.

Hospitality & Sunday Service

Greeters

Offer a warm welcome to guests, provide directions, and help visitors feel at home during regular and special worship services.

Sunday Coffee Bar

Assist with preparing and serving coffee and refreshments on Sunday mornings, and help with clean-up after services.

Office Volunteers

Help answer phones and assist with various administrative needs in the church office.

Prayer & Spiritual Care

Prayer Group

Meet weekly on Mondays at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel to pray for the church, its ministries, and community concerns.

Prayer Chain

Pray from home for specific needs as they arise within our church family.

Children & Youth

Nursery Volunteers

Care for and play with children in the nursery on an as-needed basis. (Vetting required.)

Children’s Ministry

Support Bible-based ministry for children ages 3 through 5th grade on Sunday mornings.

Facilities & Grounds

Gardening

Help maintain flower beds and the prayer garden areas on the church grounds.

Helping Hands

Assist with small repair jobs, errands, and minor household tasks for those who are unable to do them themselves.

Decorating the Sanctuary

Creatively enhance the worship atmosphere, especially during special seasons and celebrations.

Outreach & Community Care

English as a Second Language (ESL)

Volunteer to teach, assist teachers, or help coordinate snacks for our free ESL classes, held November through March.

Food Pantry

Assist with food distribution on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month. Help with organizing, sorting, and preparing food for distribution.

Nomads

Participate in a March outreach mission repairing homes in low-income communities. No special skills required—just a willing heart.

Pablo’s Closet

Help distribute clean, gently used clothing to those in need. Volunteers are always welcome.
